Darrell Cox
Darrell Cox has been an AR Armorer Instructor for approximately 15 years. Darrell is a federally licensed gunsmith (since 1982) and has built competition AR rifles and 1911 Pistols. As a gunsmith, Darrell was a registered Recall Station for Smith & Wesson. He is a certified NRA Rifle, Pistol, and Shotgun instructor. Darrell is also a certified armorer for Smith & Wesson, Colt, and Ruger. He’s a certified police firearms instructor and was the lead instructor for the Mandatory Police Firearms Training for MTU-15 for 34 years. Darrell was part of a 2-man Law Enforcement Pistol Team that won the National Championship in 2015, winning the American Indian Trophy at Camp Perry. Darrell was also a Coles County Deputy Sheriff for 28 years and was later the elected sheriff for an additional 8 years.
