Description

This one day, 8-hour program will give students a foundation for police officer backgrounds in the state of Illinois in two parts.  The first part is a review of the Police Training Act and how it was changed by the SAFE-T Act and the Sonya Massey Act.  The second part is an overview of the background process and a discussion of different ways to structure the background process based on experience in the field.
