American Heart Association CPR – Adult, Child/Infant with AED

This course is certified by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board.

Training Mandates

• Emergency Medical Response Training and Certification (4.0hrs with 2.0hrs Scenario-based credit)

Description

This course is the American Heart Association CPR/AED course.  Students will watch and follow along with the AHA video course and use Instructor-led hands-on scenarios throughout the course.  Students will demonstrate the ability to complete all tasks to include CPR on adults, children and infants, along with the proper use of an AED.

Students will need to complete and pass both a skills test and a written exam to fulfill the AHA certification requirements.
