Ryan Delmore is currently a deputy with the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. Baldwin County, Alabama, covers over 2,000 square miles making it the largest county in the state and one of the largest counties east of the Mississippi River. He began his career as a patrol deputy and quickly began to concentrate on proactive criminal interdiction. After making numerous drug trafficking apprehensions, he was named Deputy of the Quarter in 2014. Ryan was named Deputy of the Year in 2015 and was transferred to the Special Operations Unit.
Ryan has made numerous significant arrests and seizures resulting in both state and federal indictments. He has seized and been involved in vehicle stops resulting in the seizure of over 1.6 million dollars in illicit US currency, hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of assets, explosives, counterfeit property, and hundreds of pounds of narcotics. He has trained with U.S. Customs and Border Patrol and has been requested by other agencies to assist with vehicle searches. Ryan has located hidden compartments in several different types of vehicles and has assisted the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Federal Bureau of Investigation on vehicle stops and searches. Ryan has instructed officers throughout the United States in both Interstate and Intrastate Criminal Interdiction and detecting hidden compartments. He currently works full-time interstate criminal interdiction on Interstate 10 and Interstate 65 in Alabama.
