Chris Regis
Chris Regis is currently employed as the Inspector General for the City of Joliet, Illinois. From 2003-2016 he worked as an Assistant State’s Attorney for the Will County State’s Attorney’s Office. Before becoming a prosecutor, Chris served as a sworn police officer in the Joliet Police Department for 10years.
After joining the State’s Attorney’s Office, Chris successfully prosecuted numerous felonies, including many murder cases. He also secured convictions against local gang members in gang-related shootings, as well as a Florida man who traveled to Illinois and sexually abused a minor. Chris graduated from Lewis University (Romeoville, Illinois) and later earned a Juris Doctorate from Marquette University Law School. He is licensed to practice law in Illinois and Wisconsin.
