AR15 Armorer’s Course – COURSE FULL

Training Mandates

• Officer safety techniques, including cover, concealment, and time (4hrs)

Description

This class is designed to teach officers how to work on the AR15 platform.  Participants will learn how to diagnose problems on malfunctioning weapons.  This course will take officers through the basics of safety functions, disassembly and reassembly of upper and lower receivers.  Students will learn the basics about which tools are necessary.  Various tools will be on hand for students to utilize.  During the course of the class, students will learn how to identify, replace broken parts, and function test the rifle.

Students are required to bring an AR15 Rifle to the class.  Participants are encouraged to bring armorer’s tools if possible.

No live ammunition in the classroom.
