Description

This course will help public safety professionals recognize the behavioral symptoms and characteristics of people with autism. Instruction will provide information on basic response techniques, de-escalation, first responder safety, and how to avoid litigation. Medical emergencies, community resources, and victimization issues will also be addressed. The program will feature Dennis Debbaubt, one of the most sought-after speakers in the autism community. Mr. Debbaudt is the leading global voice on autism training for law enforcement and emergency first responders.
