This course is pending certification by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board.

Description

This course is designed for recently assigned evidence technicians, detectives, and investigation supervisors. Students will learn through extensive practical exercises and case study. They will learn various evidence collection, identification, and preservation techniques. The impact of these techniques upon specific criminal investigations will also be discussed.
