Description

This course is designed to educate law enforcement and criminal justice professionals about the exploding trend of synthetic opioids.  In many jurisdictions already affected by illicit Fentanyl, W-18/Carfentanil, and U-47700, this training has become mandatory.  Instruction will cover the make-up of these dangerous substances, what they look like, where they come from, and how to protect first responders from potentially deadly contact.  The instructor will provide information on how to initiate and safely investigate cases involving these substances that are considerably more potent than other narcotics on the street.

Enrollment is open to police, corrections, probation, prosecutors and coroners.
