Description

Law Enforcement Grant Writing 101 is a two-day, 14-hour training program designed to provide the knowledge, tools, and skills required for law enforcement agencies to successfully apply for federal, state, and foundation grant funding for equipment, technology, training, personnel, and more.

This course is tailored for sworn and civilian law enforcement employees entrusted with, or aspiring to undertake, grant writing responsibilities for their departments. Past participants have included Chiefs of Police, executive-level supervisors, line-level supervisors, and officers, as well as civilian administrative staff employed by law enforcement agencies.  Participants receive the custom-made grant writing workbook, the proprietary grant writing toolkit, and state and federal grant examples.

Required Equipment for Class: Laptop Computer

Participants are encouraged to watch these three training videos before attending class.
